Celebrate the National Day of Hope with us!

“Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all the darkness.” —Desmond Tutu

Hope means different things to each of us. At St. Jude League Community Development and for our supporters, hope is found in our actions! This National Day of Hope, help us create hope for the thousands of people who rely on us in local communities and around the world.

Here are just a few of the ways SJLCD utilizes your generosity to deliver HOPE:

• Providing refugee families of forced migration shelter at Casa San Oscar Romero in Juárez, Mexico with food, clothing, medicine, legal aid, and education—a proven formula for hope for refugees seeking safe haven and a new start in the United States!

• Offering affordable housing solutions and supportive services to senior residents at Villa Guadalupe in Chicago, fostering a better quality of life, dignity, and hope in their every day.

• Delivering high-quality, safe education at SJL grade schools, high schools, and universities—unlocking doors of opportunity for students who too often find them closed, creating the next generation of leaders and a promising future for all of us!

• Serving in the Ukraine humanitarian crisis, where Claretian Missionaries are working in harm’s way within the war-torn town of Truskavets, delivering direct aid to families who fled their homes with nothing.

This National Day of Hope, we focus on St. Jude League Community Development’s power to create HOPE with and through YOU! CLICK HERE to take action by making a one-time or monthly gift, which will provide vital resources needed to sustain our life-changing work.
